Shrimp Creole

Ingredients

2 medium onions - cut in rings
2/3 cup celery - diced
1/2 cup red pepper - diced
2 T butter
1 T flour
1 T chili powder
1 tsp salt
1-3/4 cup water
3 medium tomatoes - diced
2 T red wine
2 tsp Kitchen Bouquet

2-1/2 lbs. cooked shrimp

Directions

Saute onion, celery and red pepper in butter over medium high heat. Add flour, chili powder, salt and water. Cook 15 minutes. Add tomatoes, wine and Kitchen Bouquet. Cook 10 minutes. Add shrimp before serving and simmer until shrimp is just warmed. Serve over rice.
