2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup of sugar
½ cup softened butter
2 well-beaten eggs
1 cup mashed banana
1 teaspoon vanilla

Ingredients for streusel

¼ cup melted butter - divided use
½ cup brown sugar - divided use
½ cup pecans, finely chopped - divided use

Directions

Mix first eight ingredients together and pour half the batter into a greased loaf pan.  Drizzle with half the melted butter.  Sprinkle half of the brown sugar over the melted butter and dust with half the pecans.  Pour remaining batter on top and smooth over the streusel.  Top with the rest of the melted butter, brown sugar and pecans.
