mushroom and asparagus saute
2 - 8 oz. tubs of fresh mushrooms (sliced)
2 - bunches of fresh asparagus spears
2 tsp minced garlic
2 T butter
2 T olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Clean mushrooms and slice. Heat oil and butter in large saute pan over medium heat. Add mushrooms, garlic, salt and pepper. Saute, stirring occasionally until tender (about 20 minutes). While mushrooms are cooking, snap off tough ends of asparagus, rinse and cut into 2-inch pieces. Add asparagus to pan, cover and cook until asparagus is tender-crisp.
